Roman Tower
To the south of Idstein the fortification wall, the “Limes” - which ran between the Roman Empire and the free Germania , crosses hills and valleys from west to east. The reconstruction of one of the watch-towers, as they were to be found within viewing distance of each other on the Limes, was officially opened in 2002.
